Coronation Street’s Lucy Fallon is ‘set’ to appear on I’m A Celeb

Coronation Street's Lucy Fallon is reportedly swapping the soap world for reality TV.

The blonde actress, 23, who is set to have some free time on her hands as a result of quitting soap Corrie, is said to be heading into the Australian bush to star on the 2019 series of I'm A Celeb.

Her agreeing to take on the challenge has left bosses of the ITV show "delighted to have her on board" as they  are "are sure she will be a big hit with fans at home and her campmates.”

A TV insider told The Sun : "Lucy is bubbly, funny, down-to-earth and game for a challenge, so she is a great fit for I’m A Celebrity.

“Bosses are delighted to have her on board and are sure she will be a big hit with fans at home and her campmates.”

The publication also claims that Lucy's acceptance to appear comes as she feels the "time is right" after previously turning down the opportunity to be on the line-up last year.

Mirror Online have contacted a representative for I'm A Celebrity for comment.

 The news comes after the pretty star discussed leaving Coronation Street .

Lucy Fallon admits she is terrified to quit Coronation Street but hopes to follow in some famous footsteps.

Lucy to Mirror Online: “I don’t know what I want to do after the show. People like Suranne Jones have gone off to do amazing things so that’s the dream.

“I’d like to stay in TV but I am under no illusions about what might happen. It’s exciting that is even a possibility for me.”

Lucy has certainly made a big impact during her four years in Corrie as Sarah Platt’s daughter.

Lucy’s brilliant performances earned her four gongs since 2017, including a National Television Award in 2018, voted for by the public.
