Coronation Street fans were left terrified tonight as they worried that Maria Connor might have picked up an illness from baby Bertie.
Daniel Osbourne took Bertie out for a walk in the evening, where they bumped into a newly pregnant Maria (Samia Longchambon) on the Corrie cobbles.
Holding Bertie in her arms, Maria started to feel his cheek and was left a little panicked by the baby's temperature.
She said: "Feels a bit warm Daniel…"
Passing him back to his dad, she added: "I'm sure he's fine. Plenty of fluids and some baby paracetamol."
Daniel rushed the baby home, where he asked Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon) for advice on nursing him back to good health.

A second added: "Bet Bertie has measles and Maria pregnant as well."
And a third remarked: "So poor Bertie is going to catch the lurgi because Daniel didn't let Dr Gaddarse vaccinate him?
