Curfew season 2: Will there be another series of Curfew?

Curfew came to an end on Sky One on Friday, April 12 after eight weeks on nail-biting action. The series proved such a hit with fans that many are calling for Curfew season two to be released. Here’s all the details about season two and whether or not there will even be another series of Curfew.

Will there be another series of Curfew?

Curfew season two is yet to be given the green light by Sky.

Sky One only aired the finale on Friday, April 12 so there’s still plenty of time for a renewal to get the go-ahead.

In the meantime, a number of fans and members of the cast have taken to social media to express their desire for another series.

Jason Thorpe, who plays El Capitano, penned a message on Twitter after the finale.

Thorpe tweeted: “#Curfew Now come on!!! That was a brilliant finale!!! When’s season 2?”

The Curfew actor also responded to a tweet the Curfew official account put out, saying: “Don’t worry, we’ll be back…won’t we?”

The actors behind Roman Donahue (Ike Bennett) and Meg Donahue (Jessye Romeo) also retweeted tweets from Curfew’s official account following the finale.

However, with no official word of a renewal coming from Sky at present, another tweet published by Curfew may suggest season two is a non-starter.

Curfew tweeted: “We’re really gonna miss this crazy bunch [heartbreak emoji].”

When will Curfew season 2 be released?

With no official renewal confirmed, a release date for Curfew season two hasn’t been revealed.

However, if it follows the same time schedule as the first series, fans may be able to expect Curfew back on screens in early 2020.

Whether or not season two will consist of eight episodes like the first is yet to be seen.

Is there a trailer for Curfew season 2?

The Curfew season two trailer will likely be released closer to the series release if it’s renewed.

Sky dropped the trailer for the first season in the month before the first episode’s premiere.

The short promo was jam-packed with car chases, shoot outs, and Sean Bean’s signature death stare.

Fans may be able to expect more of the same if season two’s given the green light.

Curfew is available to watch on NOW TV and Sky Go now.
