Dan Osborne issues grovelling apology to wife Jacqueline Jossa over cheat claims

Dan Osborne has issued a grovelling public apology to I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here winner Jacqueline Jossa after being accused of cheating on her during their marriage.

Former Towie and Celebrity Big Brother star Dan, took to social media to post a long statement, which while not addressing the allegations directly, acknowledged he had ‘learned from his mistakes’.

The 28-year-old wrote: ‘So after weeks, months, years of constant articles and rumours, some true, some very untrue. I want to publicly say, I know I have made mistakes, we all do as humans, but I’ve made some that have almost cost me my family.’

‘I have seriously learnt from these massively,’ he continued. ‘So I want to publicly apologise to my beautiful wife and my family for the mistakes I’ve made.

‘I am the luckiest man in the world to have what I have with Jacqueline and my 3 incredible children and I will spend the rest of my life being the best husband and dad that I can be.’

‘Jac, myself and our families are excited for the future, one filled with love and happiness together,’ Dan concluded.

‘We truly appreciate everyone that has supported us as a couple, we are ending this year stronger than ever.’

Jacqueline and Dan have reportedly been working on their two-year marriage since she won I’m a Celebrity and returned home to new claims he had cheated on her in the past.

These included a threesome with Chloe Ayling and Natalie Nunn and a return of rumours that he had a fling with Love Island’s Gabby Allen, causing them to go on a ‘break’ in March 2018.

Dan’s comments come after wife Jacqueline, 27, broke her silence about the continued infidelity claims, telling Lorraine Kelly that he knew he’d done wrong’.

‘It’s not new news to me. It got brought up again because Myles was with, you know, [Gabby] at the same time,’ Jac said. ‘I was really glad, in a way, because it made me think of stuff while in there.’

Myles Stephenson revealed to Metro.co.uk last week that he had spoken with Jacqueline away from the cameras about the allegations.

The Rak-Su star, 28, explained what happened with their conversation, admitting he tried to keep it as private as possible: ‘It did happen, but it wasn’t on air. Basically she asked me in the main camp and I said “now is not the time to talk about it”, and when we got a spare five minutes on the way to a trial we spoke about what I had read [in Gabby’s messages] and that was it. I’d found messages when me and Gabby were together.

‘She listened to what I’d read and she took it on board and she moved on from it. So I’m glad that she took it in and made a decision on what she wanted to do.’

‘I had no choice, in there for 3.5 weeks with no phone, you’ve got plenty of time, you think constantly. It helped me,’ Jacqueline later told Lorraine.

The former EastEnders star said she wanted to ‘hit a restart button’ with Dan, keen to leave these allegations in the past and move forward with their family, including two children Ella, four, and Mia, one.

‘It’s been two years of me giving him hell…he knows he’s done a lot wrong,’ Jacqueline said. ‘There is stuff that’s not true, that’s [a legal issue] so I can’t talk about it.’

The pair have two daughters, Ella, four, and one-year-old Mia, with Jacqueline also stepmum to six-year-old Teddy, Dan’s son from a previous relationship.
