The BBC Breakfast host will be taking to the dancefloor on Saturday as he makes his debut in the upcoming series of Strictly Come Dancing 2021. Dan Walker will join the likes of Tilly Ramsay, McFly star Tom Fletcher and former Coronation Street actress Katie McGlynn, as they all compete for the Glitterball Trophy. BBC bosses haven’t revealed who the celebs will be partnered up with just yet, although Dan has been spotted leaving the dance studio at the same time as dance professional Nadiya Bychkova.
The 44-year-old has been working hard in rehearsals, and earlier this week the BBC Breakfast host was seen leaving the dance studio at around 6.15pm.
In pictures obtained by the Daily Mirror, professional dancer Nadiya was spotted leaving the same studio just 30 minutes after Dan.
It has not been confirmed whether the duo will be dancing together, although, the partnerships will be revealed on Saturday night.
Last year, Nadiya took a step back from the dancefloor along with Neil Jones, Graziano Di Prima and Nancy Xu.
The show’s executive producer Sarah Jones announced that a number of the professional dancers would not be assigned to a celebrity due to a cut-down run for the 2020 series.
In the past, Nadiya has been partnered up with Blue star Lee Ryan, footballer David James and EastEnders actor Davood Ghadami who she took all the way to the quarter-finals.
Despite taking a break from the 2020 series, Nadiya will be making a return to the Strictly dance floor.
Dan’s Instagram followers also seem to think Nadiya is his dance partner.
In view of his 209,000 followers, Dan teased his dance partner’s identity.
Sharing a snap of just their feet, the host penned: “I wasn’t sure if my #Strictly professional partner would approve of the red football socks but she says they are bringing out the best in me.”
Dan’s followers were quick to reply, with many predicting Nadiya is his dance partner.
“Dan has to be with the tallest female professional surely…Nadiya?” Catherine guessed. (Sic)

“Nadiya without doubt,” Laura wrote as Lulu said: “Based on your height it’s easier to narrow it down.”
Other guesses from followers included Karen Hauer and reigning champion Oti Mabuse.
Dan also took to his Instagram story on Wednesday night to give his followers a “Strictly update”.
“Hello,” he greeted. “A little Strictly update for you.
“Day two in the training room and I love it. It is so much fun. Why has no one told me that learning to dance could be this enjoyable before.”
He continued: “It’s brilliant. The professional dancers are just incredible.
“I can’t tell you anything about who mine is. I can’t give you any clues. I can’t post any pictures as I am sure I’ll give it away somehow.
“You’ll find out on the launch show this coming Saturday who I have been partnered with.
“I can tell you she is brilliant, and I am learning an awful lot from her. I hope some of it is going in.”
Strictly Come Dancing returns on Saturday to BBC One.
