Danielle Lloyd slammed for breeding her 18 month old pedigree dog as fans fear for it's wellbeing

DANIELLE Lloyd's fans slammed her for breeding her beloved French bulldog, Fendi.

The pregnant 37-year-old showed off Fendi's puppies describing it as a 'special' and 'emotional' day.

Taking to Instagram, Danielle gushed over her dog saying it felt like they'd done their "pregnancies together."

Danielle posted a series of photos featuring Fendi with her newborn pups and one of the model holding the two newborns up to the camera.

She previously told OK! that pregnancy scans showed Fendi had been expecting "five or more babies."

"Yesterday was a very special day but probably also the most emotional.
I never realised how much love I had for my dog," captioned the post.

"Fendi is the most loving, special princess and now a mummy.

"Am so proud of her bringing these gorgeous puppies into the world literally felt like we have done our pregnancies together so being there with her was just so amazing.

"Feel like a proud mum 🥰💞."

Danielle then tagged JRC Bullies in the post, the same breeders her pal Katie Price was in a row with last year, when the puppy she got from them died days after bringing it home.

While many of Danielle's fans thought the puppies were adorable, some criticised her for breeding the pedigree dog.

At 18 months of age, some thought Fendi was too young to breed while others worried about unwanted dogs going to shelters.

"Puppies are so cute but it saddens me thinking of all the unwanted pedigree and mixed breed dog's in shelters," commented one fan on her post.

The RSPCA warns of "significant animal welfare problems" with breeding certain dog types.

"Particular dog breeds and pedigree dogs exist due to deliberate and selective breeding for specific traits by dog breeders," the animal welfare organisation says.

French bulldogs are prone to serious breathing problems, mobility issues and skin allergies.

Danielle and her mum, Jackie Lloyd, hit back at the fan saying they were not like other breeders.

"How do you know why I do and don’t do?" wrote Danielle.

While Jackie added: "Fendi will not be overbred none of their dogs are but I agree some people just use them as a cash machine and it's so wrong."

Danielle is currently pregnant with her fifth child with husband, Michael O'Neill.

Danielle, who is already mum to four boys Archie, Harry, George and Ronnie, will be welcoming her first daughter into the world very soon.
