EastEnders’ Chelsea tries to escape evil Gray as her health takes drastic turn

EastEnders favourite Chelsea Atkins (Zaraah Abrahams) tries to escape her killer husband Gray Atkins (Toby-Alexander Smith) next week.

Gray suggests to Chelsea that they should register their baby son Jordan’s birth in upcoming scenes.

The new mum tells a concerned Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty) and Kheerat Panesar (Jaz Deol), who encourage her to stick to their plan but Whitney knows that Chelsea is on edge.

Chelsea explains that even if Gray does go down, she will never get rid of him once he is registered on the birth certificate making Whitney change their plan to get Chelsea to sign the birth certificate without Gray.

Gray informs Chelsea that Jordan is breathing on his own so they don’t have to be at the hospital, making Chelsea’s chances of getting her passport so she can register Jordan’s birth slim.

Chelsea tells Kheerat she can’t leave the house so he comes by and takes Gray to The Vic in celebration of Jordan’s birth buying Chelsea time.

On her way back, Chelsea is caught by Gray so lies that she just went to get milk. However later his suspicions rise.

They both agree to go to the hospital to see Jordan so Chelsea gives Kheerat an update and Kheerat promises to meet her at the hospital to support her signing the birth certificate.

As she goes to register Jordan’s birth, Chelsea gets a huge shock.

Later in the week, a deflated Chelsea is with Denise who assumes she is overtired so gives her some pills to help her sleep.

Denise later advises Gray to book a GP appointment to see if they can help Chelsea.

Seeing that Chelsea isn’t eating, Gray surprises her with a gift.

Chelsea has been trying to escape her husband after seeing his dark side since finding out he killed his ex-wife Chantelle Atkins.

Whitney discovered the tragic truth about Chantelle's death the day before Chelsea was due to marry Gray, but was unable to stop the wedding going ahead altogether.

Chelsea was left panic-stricken when she realised her mistake shortly afterwards and made an ill-fated attempt to escape him.

Her priorities have since changed after she gave birth to her baby son Jordan at 24-weeks, with Gray by her side.

She later told Whitney that she needed Gray's support while Jordan fights for his life in hospital, but was still on board with their plan to expose him.

Will Chelsea be able to expose Gray or will she be his next victim?

Fans of the BBC One soap know that the solicitor has already murdered Chantelle, Kush Kasemi and Tina Carter.
