Whitney fell pregnant after a one night stand with Zack last year, and though they weren’t together, Zack promised to support her and the baby.

However, tragedy struck as doctors suspected their may be something wrong, sending Whitney and Zack for tests.

They later discovered that their baby had Edwards’ Syndrome, a condition that affects a baby’s lifespan.

Whitney gave birth to a little girl which they named Peach in heartbreaking scenes, and Lillia rushed to support her EastEnders colleagues publicly.

She penned: "Cannot help but cry! You are doing incredibly, it’s an honour @ShonaBM & @JamesFarrar_"

Fans rushed to reply to Lillia's tweet to say that she's also doing well with her current storyline.

One fan penned: "You are also doing amazingly! A star in the making."

Another added: "They are doing amazingly well. It's such a heartbreaking story."

Lillia is also at the centre of her own hard-hitting storyline as her character Lily is currently pregnant aged 12.

The teenager is expecting Ricky Junior's baby after learning she was pregnant on New Year's Day.

She went back and forth over whether or not to keep the baby, before she eventually decided that she would.

In the wake of her aunt Whitney’s loss, Lily’s mum Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) had to reassure her that the situation with her own pregnancy would be fine, as Whitney’s baby had a very rare condition.

She promised that Lily and her baby would be fine, and that Lily should go and get ready for school.
