Emmerdale couple torn apart as fans ‘work out’ Nate Robinson betrayal

Emmerdale: Nate and Tracy get married

Emmerdale fans seem to think Nate Robinson (played by Jurell Carter) and Tracy Metcalfe (Amy Walsh) won’t get their happily ever after in the ITV soap despite the pair finally getting hitched.

Towards the end of Monday’s episode, Nate and Tracy got married in the village church after Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) and Moira Barton (Natalie J Robb) sabotaged their first attempt at getting wed.

The duo were all smiles as they finally said “I do” – but how long with the honeymoon period last?

Fans seem to think Nate will end up betraying Tracy again, especially after he cheated on the mother of his child last year.

Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk and other press, the actor who plays Nate teased his character’s future with Tracy.

The soap star began: “Nothing goes smoothly but we would love the kind of fairytale wedding and fairytale relationship at the same time.

“Even with normal relationships, you go through ups and downs and things like that.

“Who knows we might go through a smooth sailing relationship, but maybe not.”

When speaking about Nate being kidnapped by Cain and Moira, Jurell went on: “He’s just shocked and he’s angry at the same time because I think this has been in the planning for months behind closed doors.

“I even say in one line we didn’t want any pressure…we don’t want anything getting in the way of things and we just wanted everything to go smoothly.

“And I think the fact that even his own wedding day has not gone smoothly, it’s kind of a bit messed up.

“I think he’s angry and just frustrated and he’s also upset because I think it was like a chance for Nate and Tracy to have their own special day including baby Frankie and it’s gone pear-shaped.”
