Emmerdale fans convinced Vinny will expose evil Paul in wedding day speech revenge twist

EMMERDALE fans are convinced Vinny Dingle will expose abusive Paul Ashdale in a wedding day revenge twist.

The gambling addict – who is played by Reece Dinsdale in the ITV soap – has been subjecting Vinny to brutal beatings and guilt-tripping him into keeping it a secret from everyone.

But viewers are certain Vinny will end up announcing the truth to the entire wedding after Paul bullied him into changing his best man speech.

Last week, Paul forced Vinny to read his speech aloud, but looked perplexed when Vinny cracked some jokes about marriage being a gamble.

A deluded Paul then bullied Vinny into singing his praises in the speech, forcing him to repeat his optimistic version after him.

Emmerdale fans were furious and were left hoping Vinny would expose Paul at the wedding in a huge twist.

One tweeted: "I hope Vinny tells everyone what’s been going on when he’s doing his speech!"

Another added: "Vinny include in your bestman speech that he's been beating you up. #Emmerdale"

A third chimed in: "Vinny should do a surprise speech on how his dad has been beating him #Emmerdale."

Three villagers will be left fighting for their lives next week in the lead up to Mandy and Paul’s wedding, with at least one meeting a grisly end.

Tragedy will strike after Liv finally discovers that Paul is behind Vinny’s beating – and confronts him in dramatic scenes in the wedding barn.

Liv and Aaron do their best to convince Vinny to come clean to Mandy about the abuse.

But could they be in grave danger?

It was recently revealed that the soap is planning a huge stunt with a deadly barn explosion in upcoming scenes, which producer Laura Shaw hinting it would be connected to the Dingle wedding.

Teasing the storyline earlier this year, Laura told The Sun: “We've made no secret that our big Mandy/Vinny/Paul storyline will feature heavily in 2021."

"As Paul becomes better at hiding what's really going on, Mandy falls more in love with him, which ultimately leads to a marriage proposal and a big old Dingle wedding is planned," she continued.

“But will Mandy and Paul really get their happily ever after, or will Vinny find the courage to be honest about the abuse Paul is subjecting him to?"

The producer also teased a huge spectacle for the scenes and called it "undoubtedly our most ambitious work since the dreaded COVID hit us”.

She also revealed the final scenes will be "absolutely epic and truly rewarding for our fans, who love it when we go big".

"I can't say much more about that, but what I can tell you is that ultimately this story will end in tragedy for at least one of our characters – but the question is who?"
