The Emmerdale village is set to be rocked when Cain becomes so angry that his son decides to run away and ends up going missing as a result.
It all starts when Cain Dingle becomes furious that shady character Al is moving in with Amy and Kerry, all while Amy threatens that she will fight Cain for custody of their son Kyle.
Amy urges that if Cain stops meddling in her life, she won't fight for custody.
Trying to cool tempers, Moira tries to rectify things by telling Amy that she will try to get through to Cain that he can't keep getting involved with her life, but with Al deliberately antagonising the situation Cain is unlikely to back down.
Al can't leave the situation alone and ends up suggesting that Amy should send Cain a solicitors letter – but will she stoop that low?
In the meantime, Moira tries to persuade Cain to forget about Al and focus on Kyle, but he refuses to put his feelings aside and is angry that Al will be living under the same roof as Kyle.
After a while, Cain and Amy agree to stick to their original plan and decide not to involve any solicitors – with Moira proud that the pair could amicably sort things out.
Hiding his disappointment when Al finds out about the plan, he begins to concoct a plan that will leave the Dales shaken once again.
Al gives Kyle his old phone, with the young boy quickly pocketing it.
Cain then catches Kyle asking Vinny to get him a top up card from the shop – something that leaves Cain fuming and completely angered.
His rage then reaches new levels when Kyle tells him that Al gave him the phone.
Getting incredibly angry, Cain's temper piques and then Kyle goes missing.
Cain is left completely devastated – but will Kyle come home?
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm.
