Emmerdale’s Mandy Dingle (played by Lisa Riley) had an enormous hangover as she woke up after hitting it hard at home in the village the night before.
Confronted with her son Vinny and ex-fiance Paul in the harsh light of day, Mandy groaned and struggled to sit up on the sofa as she fought to recall the events of the night before.
The hilarious character’s dialogue came to a head when she said she’d been drinking a bottle of Creme de Menthe for the occasion.
As ever, eagle-eyed fans immediately spotted that Mandy’s choice of beverage was actually Midori, both similar shades of green but very different liqueurs in flavour.
Viewers were quick to take to Twitter to point out the gaffe.
“Is that Midori she’s drinking,” one person commented.
Another viewer said: “That looks more like a bottle of Midori, Mandy,” posted next to a rolling eyes emoji.
“That’s not Créme de Menthe, that’s Midori Sour,” a third declared next to a big green image of the real stuff.

Also during tonight's episode, Faith Dingle (Sally Dexter) was regretting her resolve to stay in the Dales and reconcile with her son Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley).
The duo have long had a tumultuous relationship but after hearing gossip about her in the Woolpack a sheepish Faith made up her mind it was time for her to leave once more.
Despite Moira Dingle's (Natalie J Robb) desperate attempts to convince her to stay, Faith slammed the car door appeared to be departing for good.
Emmerdale continues weekdays at 7pm on ITV.
