Emmerdale 's Vanessa Woodfield (Michelle Hardwick) sparked fears from viewers as she spoke to her girlfriend Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) tonight.
Charity begged her partner to come home, just for a few days, as she opened up on how much her and Vanessa's young son Johnny were missing her.
Vanessa agreed to come home for a few days, leaving Charity ecstatic, but as she turned to answer the door, she looked troubled.
Fans rushed to social media to worry about Vanessa and her big secret, as some predicted that her cancer has returned as she doesn't want to say.
One posted: "I’ve got a horrible feeling Vanessa still needs more cancer treatment/she’s had bad news and that’s why she can’t face going home."
Another added: "We are all of the assumption that Vanessa's cancer has returned yes?
"We are all of the same opinion that Moiras brother resembles a car boot seller? Also will not be hating on Charity cos poor writing dictates I do."
A third chipped in: "I told you she was gonna get sicker didn’t I… ok I maybe went a little far killing her off."
A fourth were: "That look at the end from Vanessa it’s all going to end in tears oh no!"
