Selena Gomez and her 6-year-old sister Gracie Teefey appeared on the red carpet at the premiere for Frozen 2. The event was held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood on Nov 7. Teefy and Gomez, 27, arrived in twinning Marc Jacobs Frozen-esque outfits, walking the carpet hand-in-hand.

Gomez’s hair was also reminiscent of a Frozen character, Princess Anna. She wore her long brunette locks in loose braids. The sisters donned white wintry dresses with giant sleeves and adorned with little blue flowers. But they really stole the show with their cloaks: floor-length sequined capes, necks lined with gray feathers.
Teefy and Gomez blended in easily among the magical Frozen 2 wonderland set up for the movie premiere. They even snagged a pic with dress-up Olaf, Anna, and Elsa.
Selena Gomez reaches the height of big sisterhood, shares moment on Instagram
Gomez shared several shots from the premiere of her and her sister’s matching dress/cloak combos on her Instagram.
“Hope I’m officially the best big sissy ever now.. she was LIVING her best life!!” Gomez said about her little sister. Teefy not only got to see the sequel to the original blockbuster Disney movie early, but also got to twin it out with her sister, who is 21 years older than her, in totally on-theme outfits.
“Frozen 2 was amazing!!!” Gomez captioned the image. The Instagram picture received a cool 7.5 million likes.
The matching-ensembles red carpet outing is one of many examples of the former Disney star, Selena Gomez, coming through in a big-sister type of way.
In 2017, Gomez captioned an Instagram image about Teefy: “I will forever let my sister know she is strong, bold and beautiful.” She puts a lot of emphasis on inspiring confidence in her 6-year-old sibling.
“She will be raised to know her voice matters,” the singer continued. “She is going to understand the importance behind being a leader and inspire others by her truth.”
‘Frozen 2’: the release date is Nov. 22, 2019
In addition to Gomez and Teefy, Frozen 2‘s leads also graced the red carpet on Nov. 7. The cast includes Kristen Bell, who plays Anna, Idina Menzel, who voices Elsa, Jonathan Groff, who plays Kristoff, and Sterling K. Brown, who does the voice of Mattias, to name just a few.
Frozen 2 directors Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck spilled secrets earlier in 2019 to Entertainment Weekly. They said this snowy sequel will allow audiences to see how Elsa got her powers.
“We can’t tell you whether they solve the mystery of the past or whether Elsa ever finds the answers about her powers,” they said in June. What they can tell us? The sequel is going to be an adventure.
“Frozen 2 is even bigger and more epic, but most importantly, in the end Frozen 1 and Frozen 2 work together to form one complete story,” Buck told Entertainment Weekly.
