GMB host Ranvir Singh dropped some surprise news on the show this morning as Richard Arnold gave an update on the entertainment industry.

While Richard was sharing news from the entertainment sector, he spilled on some other news a little closer to home.

Still in the world of entertainment, Richard dropped the news that a new show would be launching next year – and that the show would be headed up by their very own Ranvir.

Ranvir, who appeared incredibly proud of her upcoming project, shared the details of her brand new quiz show titled Riddiculous which is set to launch next year.

As Richard handed over to Ranvir to spill on the show, she confirmed it would be coming to TV next year at 3pm and will be filled with riddles.

She said: "It'll be riddles or some of those sayings, it's like an optical illusion. They are brilliant.

"We did a pilot up in Manchester and everyone was completely riveted by them.

"You get visual clues so say for example you might have vaders – VAD ERS – it's a visual one so I'm not doing a very good job at explaining it – but it would be space invaders that kind of thing."

Although Richard didn't seem to quite wrap his head around it, he continued in his congratulations and told the host it was "great news".

It looks like Richard might be after a debut on the show as he asked if there would be a celebrity version, which saw Ranvir respond: "You'll be right on it mate."

Richard then reiterated his excitement for the upcoming show.

Ranvir's announcement comes shortly after the presenter opened up about the challenges of working as a single mum after breaking down over "mum guilt".

The host opened up about it after she took a phone call from her son live on air, something which she has said she "doesn't regret" due to the challenges she has faced.

As she shared it onto her Instagram, Ranvir wrote: "I hope it sheds light on how life really is for some, perhaps many, and resonates with somebody in the same boat."

Ranvir's raw honesty struck a chord with her fans who inundated her with love and shared their support for her decision to take the call on air.

The host has been given countless support from her fans, so it's likely that when her new show launches too, she will receive the support from her adoring followers.
