Coronation Street has seen a number of new faces, and returning faces, over 2018.
Nick Tyldesley has come back and caused a lot of problems for his family, along with Lewis Archer, who has swept Audrey Roberts off her feet once again.
And of course, the devilish Jude Appleton has brought chaos to poor Mary Taylor’s door, but has vanished after trying to steal money from Roy Cropper, based on a shocking lie.
But could we be seeing any of our leavers returning or, and possibly even better, are there new faces set to arrive in Weatherfield?
Here’s our guesses and confirmed names for 2019.
She suffered a great deal as the daughter of Pat Phelan, and we recently heard Gary Windass heading down to Bristol to see her and their child.
But, even if it’s only for a few episodes, we are expecting to see Nicola back on the cobbles to visit Gary and Eileen Grimshaw, with whom she has some strong connections.
And of course, baby Zack will be in tow – but why is she back?
Actor Malcolm Hebden was sadly unable to appear in the show for a lot of 2018 after a heart attack left him needing time to recover.
And though he is only back for a "cameo," in the words of the showrunner Iain MacLeod, he is certainly expected to come back for a bit, and hopefully meet up with his beloved wife Mary.
As far as the cobbles-dwellers are aware, Norris has been up in Scotland staying with his close friend Emily, but what will bring him back?
Ex-Eastender Janet Dibley has already appeared briefly in the show as the s chool’s headteacher, Melinda, as she helped Brian Packham get his chaotic nativity play up and running, despite his horrible deputy head’s jibes.
Luckily, things went to plan, until the horrid teacher threatened poor Brian in the loos at the Rovers.
With issues still bubbling for Brian, it seems likely Melinda’s services will be needed for a little longer, though there’s no ideas how long she’ll be around.
Gemma Winter’s twin brother is expected to turn up and ruffle some featjers next year.
We have seen him before, as he had a bit of a run in with David Platt while the pair were in prison, signalling the *bad boy alert* as he turns up on the cobbles.
But ladies don’t need to fear his charms, as he’ll only have eyes for the street’s vicar, Billy Mayhew, who has already been jilted once by Todd Grimshaw, who made a shock exit at the end of 2017.
With Paul already having been banged up for various crimes, what chaos could he bring to Corrie?
Imogen, Kate Connor’s ex, has already turned up in the show when Rana Nazir, trying to get over her break-up, went to a bar with Imran and Toyah and ran into her.
But it may be that Imogen has more of a part to play as the storyline between the ladies continues.
Could there be a love triangle on the way?
He tried to strike his poor mum Mary in a heated scuffle, as he tried desperately to stop his web of lies from going out of control.
And he tried to con his wife into believing he was marine biologist, and then studying to be a paramedic, all of which turned out to be more and more lies.
But Mary is set to be conned by him once more, as she has £500 taken off her by who she believes to be "Ken Barlow," but it is in fact the horrible villain, back to wreak more havoc on the street.
Will his awful ways be found out and his presence rooted out from the cobbles?
