Holly Willoughby reveals chilling moment she was tricked by scammer | The Sun

HOLLY Willoughby has revealed the chilling moment she was tricked into almost handing over her bank details to a scammer.

The This Morning presenter admitted she'd suffered a scare after receiving a text about a delivery.

Despite often warning viewers about such scams, Holly, 41, clicked on the link sent to her phone from someone intent on stealing her cash.

"The amount of times we talk about it and I did it the other day," she said.

"It was a text about a delivery that needed re-delivering.

"I thought 'oh yeah I probably do need to pay the re-delivery'.

"It was only when I clicked and saw you had to enter your bank details and I thought 'oh my god, don't do it' and deleted it.

"Even though we talk about it all the time."

Her co-host Phillip Schofield said she had gone a long way into filling in the information before realising her error.

Asked what made her realise it was a scam, Holly replied: "The moment I saw bank details I though 'oh ok, I get this'."
