Hollyoaks favourite Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe) discovers that serial killer Silas Blisset (Jeff Rawle) is back in the village in upcoming scenes.
The McQueen family blackmailing storyline takes a dramatic turn next week.
Fearing that the next sin is about daughter Cher Winters (Bethanie Hare), Sylver McQueen (David Tag) desperate tries to find the cash to protect her secret.
Fans of the Channel 4 soap witnessed Cher tell her father that she killed her younger sister Liza earlier this year.
However, when Mercedes sees Svyler getting help from Felix Westwood (Richard Blackwood), she wants to know what's driven him to such desperate measures.
Meanwhile, Cher and Hollyoaks hunk Romeo Nightingale (Owen Warner) become official, unaware of the ticking time bomb ready to explode.
Cher is in danger when she unknowingly comes face to face with evil Silas.
Mercedes panics when she receives a picture message of Cher from the blackmailer and goes on the hunt for the mystery tormentor.
Things take a turn for the worst when a phone call from Silas sends shivers down the pregnant woman's spine and leads to a devastating accident.
Mercedes becomes convinced that Silas is the one behind the blackmailing horror and she secretly asks PC Goege Kiss (Callum Kerr) to help her track him down.
Will the McQueens be able to get rid of the evil blackmailer for good?
Elsewhere in the village, Ollie Morgan puts himself ands family in danger when he struggles to kick his drug habit.
He tries to convinces Darren Osborne (Ashley Taylor Dawson) and Mandy Richardson (Sarah Jayne Dunn) that he doesn't need babysitting while his dad Luke Morgan (Gary Lucy) and Cindy Cunningham (Steph Warring) are away.
After an argument with girlfriend Brooke, Ollie calls Juliet Nightingale (Niamh Blackshaw)for drugs.
However, when he doesn't have the cash to pay her, she suggests putting Cindy's empty house to good use instead.
Drug boss Victor Brothers and Juliet turn up at the Cunningham's wth a plan in mind, but easy access to Juliet's drugs stash is too much temptation for Ollie.
What will Luke and Cindy say when they return home?
