Hollyoaks reveals dramatic exit plot for Wendy and Bobby

Hollyoaks’ Wendy Blissett (Jennifer Armour) has revealed the final stage of her plan to get Bobby Costello (Jayden Fox) away from Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe).

Wendy, as viewers know, is in cahoots with murderous father Silas (Jeff Rawle), and together, they have manipulated Bobby, in the hopes of turning him against his mum.

The newcomer succeeded in her mission at first, but after a trip away from the village, Bobby realised just how much he was missing Mercedes, and thus he contemplated a life with her instead of Wendy.

Wendy, however, wasted little time in manipulating the child once more, claiming that choosing to live with Mercedes would only result in the former landlady resenting him.

Bobby therefore remained in Wendy’s care. Mercedes, meanwhile, has no idea of the extent that Wendy has gone to in order to get her own way, and thus she has stayed out of her way, believing it to be in Bobby’s best interests to avoid conflict.

Mercedes, however, made contact with Wendy in Friday’s (May 13) edition of the Channel 4 soap, after she came to realise that the trouble maker no longer resided at her last-known address.

Concerned that Wendy had abducted Bobby, Mercedes wasted little time in investigating. She soon tracked Wendy down, who revealed that she intended to leave the village once and for all.

Mercedes was delighted. That is, until Wendy demanded £5,000 compensation from her for looking after Bobby all these weeks!

It was later revealed that the schemer intends to kidnap the little boy, using the fund she acquires from Mercedes to flee Chester!

Will her devilish plot work? Will Wendy manage to get Bobby out of town before Mercedes realises he’s missing?

Or will Mercedes work out what she’s up to before it’s too late?

Hollyoaks continues Monday May 16 at 7pm on E4, or stream the next episode first on All4 from Monday at midnight.
