Will Ferrell and John C Reilly’s new movie Holmes and Watson is so bad it’s prompted people to walkout of the cinema before it’s even finished.
The film, which sees the Step Brothers stars reunite, was released on Christmas Day, but wasn’t screened to critics in advance.
After it release, reviews cropped up – mostly negative – perhaps giving us an idea as to why it wasn’t shown beforehand.
The movie got zero per cent on Rotten Tomatoes after 24 hours, it’s now at nine per cent.
It seems like cinemagoers are in agreement as they took to social media to share their thoughts, with some admitting they’d walked out of the cinema and others asking for their money back.
One Twitter user said the Etan Cohen film was “the worst piece of trash movie I have ever seen in my entire life."
Another urged people to “run” away from the film.
Holmes and Watson is a spoof Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes stories.
The film also stars Kelly Macdonald, Hugh Laurie, Pam Ferris and Ralph Fiennes, who plays Moriarty.
Others did stand up for the movie saying: "If you’re a fan of Will Ferrell and John C Reilly this movie is for you."
Another Twitter user said: "I honestly dont see why Holmes and Watson is getting such bad reviews? Everything besides the random ass musical that happens late in the movie was pretty funny."
