Indian Matchmaking: Season 2 trailer released by Netflix
WARNING: This article contains spoilers from Indian Matchmaking.
Indian Matchmaking fans met Miami-based Arti Lalwani in season three whose journey didn’t get off to the best start.
Sima Aunty set her up on a couple of unsuccessful dates when she decided to look around on a dating app.
This is when the 31-year-old cybersecurity compliance professional met boxing instructor Jamal, whom she ended up talking to for the next couple of hours.
They had their first date at Costco and the pair had instant chemistry with one another.
There was an issue regarding Jamal’s Muslim Pakistani background as Arti grew up Hindu, but they were unable to deny their connection.
Four months later Jamal was shopping for an engagement ring with his sister before popping the question which Arti delightfully accepted.
Indian Matchmaking season three: Are Arti and Jamal still together?
Neither Arti nor Jamal have specifically come out to say they’re still in a relationship, keeping this a mystery as Indian Matchmaking’s third season has only been released.
However, there have been a few clues indicating their romance is going strong.
She has been seen wearing the ring Jamal gave to her in recent photos and both attended a Holi party with fellow Indian Matchmaking stars Shital Patel and Niraj Mehta in March 2023.
They have both been present in one another’s Instagram feeds as well.

Jamal posted a video of himself training Arti at the gym in April 2022.
One year on and she dropped another clue, commenting on a post with Jamal flexing his muscles: “Damn you single?” with a winking emoji.
When she turned 32 in January, Arti took to social media to express how she was “so grateful” for the past year, hinting it could have been romantically life-changing.
Ahead of the season three premiere, Arti reflected on her experience of the show.
“The years in which Indian Matchmaking was shot, for me, were an incredibly impactful journey.
“As with all amazing opportunities, some incredible highs were also followed by some wrenching lows.
“I’m extremely grateful for my experience and feel even more humbled knowing what a journey of self-growth this has personally been for me.
“I hope you will stick by me through it all and watch my story.”
Indian Matchmaking is available to watch on Netflix.
