It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia returned for season 14 last night with the gang’s reckless behaviour being cranked up yet another gear in Glenn Howerton’s directorial debut.
Charlie (played by Charlie Day) and Frank’s (Danny DeVito) grotesque living conditions only became more disturbing when they invited two backpackers back to their horrifically grubby apartment and managed to convince them to have sex.
Only, they turned out to be heroin addicts, even if that hasn’t put off Frank before.
After 14 seasons, It’s Always Sunny only gets more absurd with each new chapter and the introduction to its latest run immediately followed suit.
So, in turn, the verdict is in and fans are just as enamored by Mac (Rob McElhenney), Dennis, Dee (Kaitlin Olson), Charlie, and Frank today as they were more than a decade ago:
The cast walked the It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia season 14 red carpet just hours before fans laid their eyes on The Gang Gets Romantic.
Well, all the cast except Glenn who was replaced with Dennis’ immensely disturbing sex doll.
Rob McElhenney shared the group shot online and wrote: ‘From our family to yours, thank you for inviting us into your homes for 14 years. See you tonight. #sunny.’
It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia continues on FX in the US and is expected to drop on Netflix later this year.
