Wayne was on the programme to end his relationship with Mari for good – but his love-struck partner refused to accept it.
Wayne admitted he no longer wanted to have sex with his girlfriend of five years and only did it every now and then to keep her happy.
He told Jeremy that he had ended their romance a number of times but Mari wouldn't allow it.
Wayne said their relationship hadn't been the same when he discovered Mari had cheated on him.
He also said she was an alcoholic and he was no longer interested in drinking every night.
But Mari said her cheating was OK because he had forgiven her and told Wayne that he loved her really.
Wayne then dealt her a major blow when he admitted signing up to join the Royal Navy just so he could be apart from her.
Even after Wayne's brutal revelation, Mari begged him to stick around so that they could at least be friends.
What's more, when a lie detector test revealed Wayne had cheated on Mari she still considered giving things another go.
The shock scenes left viewers both baffled and in stitches, with one writing: "Forget the navy, he needs to join NASA to get rid of that one #jeremykyle."
Another laughed: "“I even applied to join the navy to get away from you” hahahahahahahahaha #jeremykyle."
A third mocked: "F*** sake, he's willing to join the navy to get away from her…….take the damn hint woman he doesn't want to be with you!!!! #jeremykyle."
