John Travolta shares lunch with chef Guy Fieri and pals after wife Kelly Preston and nephew's tragic deaths

JOHN Travolta enjoyed lunch with chef and television host Guy Fieri, along with some other pals.

The movie star's outing comes after his wife Kelly Preston and nephew's tragic deaths.

John captioned a picture with Guy and others at the table: "Lunch with @guyfieri. What a guy!! A start of a wonderful friendship!"

Guy responded sharing the snap in his stories writing: "Thanks for a great time JT! More adventures to come."

Last month John also shared a pic from lunch with Tommy Lee and his family captioned: "Lovely lunch today with the Lee’s. Happy birthday @brittanyfurlan!"

John appears to be doing the best he can to cope since the passing of his nephew, Sam, last month and his wife, Kelly Preston, in July.

The screenwriter passed away on September 23 at home in Mount Horeb, Wisconsin, according to an online obituary.

His cause of death is not yet known.

Sam Jr’s high school friend Nick Mavrostomos, a chiropractor based in Bedminster, New Jersey, told The Sun: “He will be greatly missed, but he will always be with us.

John and Kelly were married for 19 years before the 57-year-old lost her battle to breast cancer.

John announced her death posting on Instagram: "It is with a very heavy heart that I inform you that my beautiful wife Kelly has lost her two-year battle with breast cancer. She fought a courageous fight with the love and support of so many."

He later shared a video dancing with his daughter Ella to honor of Kelly: "My daughter @ella.travolta and I dancing in memory of momma. One of Kelly’s favorite things, dancing with me."

Earlier this month, John celebrated Kelly's birthday sharing a picture of the couple on their wedding day, next to a picture of his parents tying the knot.

The actor captioned the touching tribute: "Happy Birthday hon!

"I found this photo of my mom and dad‘s wedding. It was nice to see ours alongside theirs."

"All my love, John."

In 2009 John and Kelly also tragically lost their 16-year-old autistic son, Jett, who apparently died after banging his head in a bathtub and having a seizure.
