Jordan and Alexis were matched by the panel of experts on the new season of Married At First Sight UK. There was some awkwardness at first, as Jordan admitted he was a quiet person and Alexis wanted him to open up. Fans are keen to know if the pair are still together now and Express.co.uk has investigated.

Where are Jordan and Alexis from MAFSUK now?

Married At First Sight UK is back and this year, the experiment has become more complex than ever.

A total of eight couples will be testing the concept of love at first sight, in the hope they can renew their vows at the end of the show.

Jordan, a 27-year-old personal trainer, was matched with Alexis, a 28-year-old model in the final wedding week.

Alexis had hoped for someone ambitious, who was well-spoken and well-educated.

Although she found this in Jordan, he was a little too reserved for her and she struggled to get to know him.

Jordan is gentle and positive, and he was raised on strong family traditions, which is great for Alexis.

However, he must learn to be more confident around his new bride if she is to see his different assets.

Alexis’ mother got emotional as she saw her daughter appear in her stunning wedding dress.

Her bridesmaids gushed over her and they said they had never seen her looking so happy.

She admitted she was nervous, saying: “I’m still like… ‘am I doing this?'”

Alexis is on Instagram and she has been sharing some behind the scenes photos from her wedding.

She said: “The day of my wedding is here, where my journey to find love begins.”

She looks happy enough, but there has been no mention of whether she and Jordan managed to last.

Jordan is also on Instagram but he has not given much away about the couple’s progress.

The pair will have to get to know each other on their honeymoon before making a decision about their future.

They will also have to meet each other’s friends and family and take part in sessions with the experts.

The couple will get the chance to assess the other couples’ progress at a number of dinner parties.

Fans will have to wait and see whether Jordan can learn to feel at home with his new bride.

Ahead of the show, he said: “My happily ever after would be to learn stuff about myself that I didn’t know before.

“I want to become stronger as a person and to obviously walk away with a partner and with some new friends.”

The one thing he may struggle with is learning to take charge, which is what Alexis wanted.

At the start of the episode, she opened up about being bullied at school and was unsure of where she fitted in. In order to overcome this, she started to become someone she did not recognise.

Ahead of the series, she said: “I’ve applied to this to find the good guy, to find someone genuine and someone who wants commitment.

“I give my all and I’m very supportive. I’m looking for someone on my wavelength and I want someone who is going to take the reins a little bit.”

Jordan is definitely the “good guy” she needs, but his confidence will need to grow.

Married At First Sight UK airs from Mondays to Thursdays at 9pm on E4.
