Josie Gibson revealed on Friday's This Morning that her campervan keys were "nicked" by a seagull last week after she left them outside on her table.

The presenter, 36, was talking to Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford via video from Devon and admitted that she had to rush home to get a spare set.

Josie was enjoying an ice cream on the beach amid the UK's heatwave when Ruth, 61, warned her to be careful in case a seagull tried to steal it.

She said: "Enjoy that ice cream, I'm very jealous. Look at that view! Mind the seagulls Josie or they'll whip that away!"

To which a serious Josie warned: "No, Ruth, they nicked my campervan keys last week!"

With Ruth replying: "Did they? Literally whipped them out of your hand?"

Explaining her incident further, Josie continued: "They were on the table outside, a seagull came down, nicked the campervan keys and I had to go home to get a spare set."

Ruth was left giggling over the revelation, as she quipped: "Oh Josie, only you!"

And the This Morning stars were left further laughing as a seagull flying above started making noises with Ruth warning: "Oh! Careful, there's one above you!"

It comes after Ruth left viewers in hysterics on Thursday's This Morning after she accidentally announced that Ben Stiller would be on the show.

The presenter and her co-host husband Eamonn were set to talk to Ben Miller about his new ITV show Professor T, which starts on Sunday, but Ruth had a hilarious blunder with names.

Prior to his interview, Ruth said: "We're going to the weather now but don’t forget, Ben Stiller is here today talking about his new dramatic role in a new series for ITV."

While later on the show, after the interview, the presenter saw the funny side of her name blunder after Eamonn said: "Ben Miller, thank you," while Ruth quipped: "Or Ben Stiller as I called you earlier."

To which Ben joked: "I'll take that!"
