Kate and Jon Gosselin’s daughter Mady, 19, enjoys Syracuse game in new college life after escaping family drama – The Sun

KATE and Jon Gosselin's daughter Mady, 19, enjoyed a Syracuse University basketball game over the weekend.

She's taking in everything her new college life has to offer after escaping her family drama.

Mady posted a pic with a friend at the Carrier Dome stadium posting: "game day! (:"

This is the first time she shared with fans where she's attending college.

She told In Touch Weekly of choosing a big campus this past October: “College feels like a place to blend in.

“I don’t want everyone to know my name and my business. So, I feel like a big college is the way we want to go.”

She and her twin Cara have been appearing on television in the parents' TLC reality show since they were little.

Cara decided to go another school in New York and row for the crew team.

The 19-year-old's new year and new semester seems off to a good start.

She posted on New Year's Eve: "2019: You were a bittersweet, stressful, challenging, crazy year.

"But you were also refreshing, wonderful, unpredictable and full of achievements I'm so proud of.

"Here’s to 2020 being cooler and crazier."

For some time Mady and her siblings have been embroiled in their parents contemptuous custody battle and nasty divorce.

In late 2018, two of the sextuplets, Hannah and Collin, moved in with their father, Jon.

The 15-year-olds now spend all their time and even holidays him, separated from their mother and six other siblings.

Hannah and Collin were previously in facility for two years for what Kate called "special needs."

This year they celebrated Christmas with Jon and his girlfriend, Colleen Conrad.

Mady has always defended her mom and even told People her estranged dad "doesn't even know" her.

More than a decade after their divorce, Jon said in and interview with Dr. Oz Kate had “narcissistic personality disorder."

He also claimed she was mentally and physically abused the kids.

Kate responded in a statement to People: “I have consistently made it a rule never to respond to Jon’s delusional ramblings, and I will not break that rule now.

"However, at some point soon, I look forward to making sure the absolute truth about our family is known.”

Kate was recently reportedly found in contempt of court for filming her children without Jon's permission.
