Liam Payne makes £15k flogging old clothes to fans – including unwashed sweaty gym shirt

LIAM Payne has made £15k by flogging old clothes to fans – including his unwashed sweaty gym shirt.

The singer, 28, has been making a small fortune on The Closets.

The website states: "Liam Paynes clothes, straight from his wardrobe, sold to you, and the profits are donated to charity. What more could you want."

The One Direction star has managed to raise an impressive £15,000 for The Trussell Trust and The Penrose Club.

There are currently a pair of Hugo Boss trainers for £35, a Sacai leaped print jacket for £450 and some bright yellow Guess shorts for £35 up for grabs.

Owner of the brand Alex confessed that Liam's fans have asked for some pretty "weird requests".

He recently told The Daily Star: "Someone wanted Liam to work out in a T-shirt and sweat as much as possible, used socks is a big thing.

"I don’t think that’s the thing Liam wants to be interacting with at the minute."

He added: "One thing I get a lot is 'are clothes washed? Do they still smell like him?' that's a very common thing, the answer is, yes, they are washed, they have to be, most of these clothes were from One Direction days and since then they've been sat in storage.

"Some of them come straight out of his wardrobe straight after they've been worn and washed, they're given to me, they're not left with his smell.

"I've had someone specifically request worn workout clothes and very specifically they wanted Liam to work out in a t-shirt and sweat as much as possible, used socks is a big thing, we don't sell them but that's a big request."

Liam isn't the only famous face who has made money from selling unwanted clobber.

The likes of Katie Price, Gemma Collins and Kerry Katona use the popular social media app Depop to make a bit of extra cash.

Liam recently wrote the song Sunshine for the kids’ recent film Ron’s Gone Wrong, which was released earlier this month.

He also appeared in the animation as a voice over.

The star, who shares his four-year-old Bear with Cheryl, said his son was over the moon to see what he got up to for the blockbuster.

The dad-of-one previously old us: “Who doesn’t want to be involved in a Disney project? But the biggest appeal was the chance for Bear to see something I’m doing and really enjoy it.

“I was FaceTiming him on the way to the premiere this week. I’d had a little toy of Ron with me and he was like, ‘Wow, it’s your movie’. He’s overjoyed.
