Love Island 2019: When is the first dumping? When will the Love Island dumping happen?

ITV reality series Love Island may only have started a few days ago but with the contestants now coupled up, there have been questions about when the first marching orders for the villa will be issued. Love Island is known for booting off contestants and bringing in new people at the drop of a hat depending on how dramatic things have been getting in the villa. Here’s what we know so far about the first Love Island dumping.

Love Island 2019 launched on Monday, June 3 with the first 10 contestants going into the villa.

After they were coupled up producers introduced two more men to really shake things up.

Tommy Fury and Curtis Pritchard were thrown into the mix and given 24 hours to decide who they wanted to steal.

Boxer Tommy and brother of Tyson Fury chose to couple up with surfer Lucie Donlan despite her wishes to remain with current partner Joe Garratt.

Lucie looked deeply upset but had to go along with the steal and is going to be getting to know Tommy better now they’ve been coupled up.

Meanwhile, Curtis paired up with Amy Hart after they seemed to hit it off.

Anton Danyluk and Joe were left single with the catering company manager looking upset his potential new beau had been stolen from him so soon.

When is the first dumping on Love Island 2019?

After all the drama, Anton was sent a text which confirmed the first dumping would be occurring at the end of the week.

The first dumping, therefore, could either take place on Friday, June 7 or Sunday 9 – depending on when the ITV programme-makers want to do it for dramatic effect.

So far no one has been dumped from Love Island but there are some cast members caught in the danger zone.

According to bookmakers Betway, Yewande Biala and Anton are the favourites to be getting the boot from the show.

The scientist has failed to have a spark with any of the other Islanders and ended up getting partnered up with firefighter Michael Griffiths much to her disappointment.

Yewande has been given evens, while gym owner Anton has proved less popular with his wandering eye at 8/11.

Who will win Love Island 2019?

The favourite to win Love Island 2019 is currently Lucie and Joe at 5/2 from Skybet.

While Ladbrokes has Lucie and Tommy down at 4/1, so it looks like the surfer from Newquay could be a winner either way

However, they have competition from Curtis and Amy at 6/1 from Coral.

Then again, all of this could change with more singletons likely to be introduced to the show.

Love Island 2019 continues on ITV tonight at 9pm
