Love Island fans fuming over another cliffhanger with dumping set to air Wednesday

Love Island fans were left fuming after it was revealed that the results of Tuesday's dumping will be aired on Wednesday night.

During the latest instalment, Paige Thorne received a text asking all of the Islanders to gather at the fire pit.

The contestants then discovered that the public had been voting for their favourite couple and that some Islanders were now at risk of leaving the Villa.

It was revealed that Dami Hope and Indiyah Polack, Paige Thorne and Adam Collard, Danica Taylor and Jamie Allen, had received the lowest votes.

The episode ended with Andrew Le Page reading out a text which read: "The couple with the fewest votes and therefore dumped from island is…" with the results set to be aired on Wednesday.

Viewers were left frustrated over the episode ending on a cliffhanger as they took to Twitter to share their thoughts.

One person said: "stop.ending.on.a.cliffhanger.and.just. tell. us. #loveisland."

A different account joked: "At this stage I think it would be more of a cliffhanger if they didn't do a cliffhanger #LoveIsland."

Another follower said: "WHYYYY?!? Yet another cliffhanger in this series #LoveIsland."

While a different viewer added: "Ending on a cliffhanger again?!? Disappointed but not surprised x #LoveIsland."

Elsewhere during the episode, Gemma Owen confronted Luca Bish over his behaviour in the villa's mile high-themed challenge.

During the episode, the girls took part in the game where they had to dress as cabin crew and prep the boys for departure, joining their chosen passenger for a private mile high club moment.

However, the challenge led to turbulence in Gemma and Luca's romance as the girls commented on how "weird" the latter was behaving.

Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu said: "Was it me or was I seeing that Luca was being a bit weird like when you were doing your challenge?"

To which the girls all agreed, even claiming that Luca was acting like a "baby" during the racy game.

After hearing her friends' comments, Gemma responded: "It's really not that deep, but if he's going to be a p***k over it then he can do one!"

Gemma then decided to confront Luca as she said: "You can sit here and say that you're not in a mood… you're in a mood…"

With Luca insisting: "No, I'm not in a mood!" to which Gemma responded: "Luca, don't play thick! You were pushing me off, had a face like a slapped a**e, are you 12?!"

Luca then explained: "It's obviously not nice to see but it's a challenge so I can't exactly stay annoyed at you for it, it was just…"

With Gemma pointing out: "So you can't exactly 'stay' annoyed at me for it… so you were annoyed at it?"
