Love Island’s Sanam ‘done dirty’ by ITV after close-up camera shot of beauty blunder

Love Island viewers were quick to notice Sanam Harrinanan’s beauty blunder on Monday night’s episode and quipped that the show’s producers “done Sanam dirty” by showing it.

Tonight's show saw her head out on her first date with Kai Fagan after the pair hit it off at Casa Amor.

Rushing upstairs to get ready for their day out, Sanam – who opted to wear open-toe heeled sandals – quickly painted her toenails with the help of Jessie Wynter… but the pair didn’t do a very good job.

Showing a close up of Sanam’s toes, her white varnish could be seen not only on her nail, but around it and on her toe as well.

Eagle-eyed viewers of course were quick to spot this, and took to Twitter to comment.

“That was some TRAGIC painting of the nails Sanam #loveIsland,” wrote one person, as someone else said: “Sanam girl those nails… Look like tipex”.

“Sanam, that nail varnish was criminal,” echoed another, as a fourth wrote: “They did Sanam dirty on that toe nails close up [crying face emoji]”.

Meanwhile others addressed Jessie helping Sanam before her big date, labelling the Aussie beauty as “sweet” for doing so.

“jessie is so sweet painting Sanam's nails PLS SHES SO KINDHEARTED,” added a second.

Lucky for Sanam, her date with Kai went better than her nail painting did with the pair going on to gush about how much they’re into each other.

“Since you’ve come in here you’ve completely changed my perspective,” Kai told her.

"It’s just effortless, with you I’m just really happy. I hope it continues because you’re the full package."

Sanam added: “I literally love our chats so much, we have so much to talk about.”

As Kai’s romance with Sanam continues to blossom, there’s been tension between him and ex Olivia Hawkins afterhe labelled her as “fake”.

Pulling him for a chat on Monday night’s episode, Olivia said: “I wanted to pull you for a chat because when I went to Casa things were good, things were really good and I just want to know what made you have these feelings.

"Thinking I’m not genuine, that I’m fake, I just want to know where that’s come from.”

Encouraging Kai to apologise for his remarks, he refused to do so as he stated that “that’s how I felt at the time”.

Love Island continues every night at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
