Married at First Sight Australia brings people from across the country, who may never have met without the show, together to tie the knot without ever meeting. UK fans have been able to watch the latest season on E4 after airing earlier this year on Channel 9 in Australia. So it is already known how it ends, who is still together and who decided to part ways.
WARNING: This article contains spoilers from MAFS Australia season 8.
Belinda Vickers hadn’t been in a relationship before signing up for MAFS Australia.
So it was unclear if she and her new husband Patrick Dwyer were going to work out but they did get off to a strong start on the day of their wedding.
There seemed to be plenty of flirtation so the attraction was never the issue for Belinda and Patrick.
The pair even declared they were officially a couple during the show’s final commitment ceremony.

Unfortunately though, after nine months of dating, it was announced Belinda and Patrick had broken up.
Speaking to Who magazine, Belinda said how it wasn’t “an easy decision”.
She continued to explain that they couldn’t agree on certain things, including “family goals especially and timings”.
Despite their mostly positive time on the show, Match’s dating and body language expert Hayley Quinn predicted there would be a break-up somewhere along the line.
Talking to Express.co.uk about the pairing, Hayley said: “Belinda and Patrick did have a spark when they met, however, Belinda’s uncertainty around physical intimacy slowed the relationship.
“This was Belinda’s first real relationship, so understandably she felt the need to progress slowly; this really showed during intimacy week she found the challenges difficult.
“Patrick also felt this from the opposite side, finding it hard to cope with Belinda’s inability to go along with the challenges and show some affection.
“Initially her body language was very closed off – her leg constantly twitched, showing she was on ‘high alert’ and not relaxed in Patrick’s presence.
“She also crossed her legs away from him and folded her arms, two classic signs of wanting to create a physical barrier between her and her partner.”

Quinn continued: “However, while they may have had a slow start as she and Patrick grew closer, you could also see Belinda’s confidence blossoming.
“She wore body confident outfit choices and seemed to really embrace the passionate side of their relationship.
“In the long run, their differences in showing affection for one another meant they were headed towards more of a friendship than a romantic relationship.”
As of yet, neither of the MAFS Australia stars have found love.
Both Belinda and Patrick are reportedly single as she continues to share her fashion designs on Instagram, the personal trainer posts workout videos.
But it doesn’t seem there is any hard feelings between the former couple as Patrick posted a picture of the two getting married with the caption: “On this day last year we got Married on National TV.”
He posted this just as the series was premiering in the UK earlier this year.
Married at First Sight Australia season 8 is currently airing on E4.
