Married At First Sight UK fans couldn't believe their ears on Monday evening, as they heard Luke had gone as far as to ghost his 'wife' Morag right after the show ended.
The couple had initially renewed their vows and chosen to stay together in last week's finale episode, but entered the reunion separately.
Morag admitted to the gathered stars that Luke "hadn't called her once" once the show wrapped.
It was a huge U-turn for Luke, who had confessed his love for Morag early on in the show and stuck by her despite her digs at his appearance and 'manliness'.
During the finale, Morag infuriated fans as she referred to her husband as a "project", needing a wardrobe revamp before she could find him attractive.
And now fans have come out in support of Luke after he cut Morag off.
Turning to Twitter, one wrote: "Sooo glad Luke's not contacted Morag! He deserved so much better not someone trying to change him all the time."
"Luke actually ghosted Morag after the experiment? Nooo what the hell hahaha! Did not expect that!" someone else penned.
As another fan followed up: "I'm only interested in what happens between Luke and Morag TBH. Haha. Considering he was practically desperate for her and ended up being the one who dropped her. WTF. Didn't see it coming."
Another Twitter user simply couldn't believe it, as they wrote: "#MAFSUK Well, no surprise that Morag and Luke split. However, are we buying that he ghosted her? Hmmm not sure on that!"
There were more shocks in store, too, as Amy and Josh confirmed their own split, with Amy admitting to her ex: "I feel like when we checked out of the experiment, you checked out of the relationship."
Adam and Tayah, Matt and Dan, and Frankie and Marilyse had all chosen to stay together.
And there were even more shocks in store, as Nikita, Jordon, Ant, Bob, Megan and Alexis all returned for the reunion.
Matt and Dan explained that they were letting things progress naturally in their relationship – with Dan attempting to win Matt's mother round to his Northern Irish charm by baking her scones.
And they admitted that starting a family is "definitely on the cards".
Things turned explosive later in the show, as Nikita railed at Alexis for matching up with Ant after their wedding experiment officially ended – with Alexis insisting the pair "weren't friends" in response to being called a "snake".
