Phil Mitchell to kill his own son as he discovers Ben's betrayal in EastEnders?

Whenever Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) is out for revenge people know they should duck for cover in EastEnders, and this time it’s those closer to home who should be worried about his wrath.

He almost lost his daughter Louise Mitchell (Tilly Keeper) when Midge (Tom Colley) kidnapped her and threatened to send her off into a life of sex trafficking, but, with a little bit of help from Keanu (Danny Walters), she managed to save herself.

While that was all going on, Phil had been knocked unconscious by Ben, who’d attempted to get Danny (Paul Usher) onside to sort the situation out himself.

Previous to this huge turn of events, Ben had been trying to encourage Danny to do business with him instead of his dad in a bid to overthrow Phil and his position as the top dog of Walford.

During the scuffle at the dock yard Phil came to realise Ben had been undermining him when Midge let slip that ‘the boy’ had been doing the dirty work for him, meaning Ben had been sticking his nose in where it wasn’t wanted.

Ben tried to push Phil to see how much he knew about what he’d done, and he was left unnerved when Phil declared just how badly he wanted to get revenge.

He said he knew someone was trying to turn him over, and that he fully intended to make them pay.

And of course that someone is his son.

Meanwhile, Sharon (Letitia Dean) was shocked to discover that Ben had known all about the money laundering and that he’d only come back because of Phil’s financial situation. Will she start to cotton on too?

With Ben being the double crosser, could Phil turn on his own son after learning of his terrible betrayal?
