Richard Madeley left Good Morning Britain viewers in stitches as he compared Laura Tobin’s striking outfit and matching trilby hat to Mary Poppins.
During Tuesday’s (March 15) instalment of the popular morning show, the 65-year-old and his co-host Susanna Ried welcomed viewers back to discuss the latest news headlines nationwide.
But it’s fair to say the meteorologist stole the show with her eye-popping outfit as she stood inside the heart of the Cheltenham race course to mark the start of Cheltenham Festival.
The brunette beauty was seen wearing a daring maroon, white and yellow striped tartan coat which featured a high neck collar as she delivered the latest weather reports.
She paired the double-breasted coat with a matching maroon trilby which was completed with a white lace trim around the base of the hat.
After her latest weather report, the dad-of-two couldn’t help but comment on her ensemble as he compared the weather reporter to fictional Disney character Mary Poppins.
As he thanked her for the weather coverage he noted: “Laura our producer thinks you look very Mary Poppins-esk today. "
