  • Sex Pistols singer John Lydon ruffled some feathers while appearing on ITV's This Morning after he described his introduction on the show as "lousy".

  • The 67 year old, who is best known to fans as Johnny Rotten, appeared on the daytime promote to promote his new single which he has dedicated to his wife who is currently suffering from Alzheimer's disease.

But as presenters Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield spoke about his achievements before introducing him via video link, John wasn't best pleased with how they did it.

Trying to instruct the pair, the punk rock icon said they could of used more information about his life other than the Sex Pistols while reminding them that he has done a lot more since then.

Making sure the interview didn't completely steer off course, Phil exclaimed: "Do your intros, do your intros!

"How would you liked to be introduced?"

Hesitating slightly, John replied: "As a superstar. Johnny Lydon."

But as Holly and Phil laughed at how short his version of his intro was, John appeared to be back on the presenters' side.
