SISTER Wives star Christine Brown opened up about her split from Kody Brown in a Cameo video for a fan, admitting that the split was a 'long time coming.'
The TLC star, 49, began her video by thanking the fan to whom she was sending it for standing with her.
She then admitted: "The decision was a longtime coming and I feel like a much better person divorced than I ever did.
Christine went on to say that things are looking up, even after making the difficult decision to end her marriage: "Life is so great. I had no idea life could be simple. I didn't know it could be simple.
"It's a whole new world and I just hope Kody and I can still remain friends during all of this.
"Because we've been still real high communicating with each other and stuff. I mean good and bad days, don't get me wrong but we have a life still together after this because we have kids to raise.
The Sister Wives star noted that Truely, the daughter she and Kody share, is only 11, adding: "So we have to be good and amiable."
Although Christine appeared, for the most part, in good spirits, she did appear near tears during one portion of the clip.
In addition to talking about her split, Christine gushed about being a mom. She revealed that the woman for whom she was making the Cameo clip was hailed as a good mom and wife.
She said: "I love being a mom. I love the relationship that I have with my kids. … One-one time with them has just been the biggest blessing."
In closing, Christine thanked the fan yet again for being there for her: "Thank you for your support. You guys are awesome and I appreciate it."
In the wake of her divorce, Christine moved from Arizona to Utah.
She sold her home and, as previously confirmed by The Sun, moved next door to daughter Aspyn, 26, and son-in-law Mitch Thompson.
Christine is living in a $1.1 million duplex four minutes drive from Aspyn and Mitch's rental property.
The young couple lives in a three-bedroom, three-bathroom condo.
Christine and Truely's home is a two-story duplex that was built in 2019. It has two living units attached next to each other as townhouses.
Her portion of the home is 3,490-square feet. It has three bedrooms and two bathrooms.
Christine announced her split from Kody, 52, early last week.
She wrote on Instagram: "After more than 25 years together, Kody and I have grown apart and I have made the difficult decision to leave.
"We will continue to be a strong presence in each other's lives as we parent our beautiful children and support our wonderful family.
"At this time, we ask for your grace and kindness as we navigate through this stage within our family. With love, Christine Brown."
Kody followed the statement with one of his own, writing: "Christine's decision to leave comes with a great deal of sadness.
"We enjoyed many years together and I have a large amount of respect and admiration for her.
"Although we are moving forward on different paths, we will always remain committed parents."
Kody and Christine have been spiritually married since 1994.
She was his third wife, joining Meri and Janelle. Eventually Kody met and married his fourth wife, Robyn, in 2010.
Kody and Christine share six children: Mykelti, Aspyn, Paedon, Gwendlyn and Truely.
TROUBLE IN PARADISE
Christine and Kody's marital woes played out during a recent season of Sister Wives.
She expressed her desire to move back to Utah, where she's from, several times.
Kody and her sister wives were opposed, however, and Christine was reduced to tears.
She cried as she claimed she "can't do marriage with Kody anymore," saying that she "doesn't matter" to him.
In a trailer for the upcoming season of Sister Wives, Christine talked about the family's decision to move onto land they purchased with plans to build on.
"The best that I can give today is to just pretend," she said. "I don't want to move onto the property, I want to move back to Utah.
"Why would I want to live on the same property with a dysfunctional marriage where right over there he's got a fully-functioning marriage? Who would ever want to live like that?"
Christine and Kody haven't been seen together recently. She visited Universal Studios with sister wife Janelle and their kids, but not her husband.
Rumors of a split began swirling last year.
