Spoilers: Frightened Hope begs Fiz not to attack her in Coronation Street

Hope Stape (Isabella Flanagan) recently attempted to get revenge following the brutal murder of her pet, Cilla the Chinchilla in Coronation Street.

Poor Cilla was killed by Peanut, Beth (Lisa George) and Kirk’s (Andrew Whyment) dog.

Feeling all kinds of emotion, Hope enlisted the help of Sam (Jude Riordan) and the stuffed weasel from the barber’s for her plan.

Forcing the equivalent of a dog bite on her arm with the stuffed animal, Hope claimed that Peanut bit her.

While Hope is very good at lying, there’s one thing she has been telling the complete truth about – Beth hitting her.

Keeping quiet about the ordeal begins to eat away at Hope next week, as she’s caught skipping school by Fiz (Jennie McAlpine) and Tyrone (Alan Halsall).

When Fiz steps towards her, Hope flinches and begs her not to hit her.

Finding Beth, Fiz and Tyrone accuse her of slapping hope and then lying about it, but what will she say?

If Beth’s secret gets out, what will Kirk think?

The next part to Hope’s storyline follows confirmation from Corrie boss Iain MacLeod that he has scrapped the character’s villainous plots and will now focus on the challenges Hope faces as she enters her pre-teen years.
