Spoilers: Paul gets in too deep with a helpline caller in Corrie at Christmas

Paul Foreman (Peter Ash) finds himself in too deep with helpline caller Will in Coronation Street this Christmas, but will Billy Mayhew (Daniel Brocklebank) be able to help him out?

Paul is incredibly anxious in the coming weeks, but Billy ultimately picks up on such a thing — and begins to speculate if it’s in relation to the helpline.

Paul insists he’s fine, but will Billy believe him?

Meanwhile, with Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) seemingly desperate to cause trouble, he suggests that Paul should spoil Billy with a takeaway and a quiet night in.

However, it’s not long before Will from the helpline calls Paul and makes out he’s having a crisis.

Paul therefore agrees to meet up with him, and Todd offers to smooth things over with Billy and lie on his behalf — something which leaves Paul incredibly grateful.

When Paul arrives, Will reveals to him that his violent stepdad walloped his mum and therefore he was scared for his life.

Paul insists they must report the incident to the police.

Meanwhile, Todd finds Billy drinking alone in the Rovers, and when Billy explains to him how Paul had to go to a friend’s rescue, he keeps shtum.

However, as the week progresses, Paul struggles to keep things from Billy, and therefore reveals to Todd that he intends on telling him all about Will.

Todd makes him promise to leave his name out of it, but will he do so?

Billy listens, as Paul opens up about Will. Afterwards, he reveals that he’s annoyed that Paul felt the need to lie about it.

However, he’s enraged once he learns that Todd was in the loop.

After giving it some thought, Billy warns his beau that he suspects Todd is playing him.

Will Paul believe him?
