Former Strictly Come Dancing champions Bill Bailey and Oti Mabuse will reunite for a brand new TV travel show.

The quick-stepping pair plan to jet around the globe to perform dances together in different countries.

Bill, 56, told the Daily Star Sunday: “We are talking about working together next year. It will be a music and dance show.

“We’ll go to different countries. In each one, we’ll find musicians and dancers and put on a performance together.

“Oti and I have had a chat about it and she is very keen on the idea. It’s one for the future.”

The show is due to happen when travel restrictions are eased.

It is hoped filming for the new TV show featuring the two Strictly stars will take place within months.

Bill and Oti, 31, beat the odds to win Strictly last year. Since then they have remained firm friends and still catch up regularly.

Bill said: “Oti and I clicked straight away.

“We got on very well. We struck up a great friendship based on mutual respect.

“We are so different in so many ways. We come from different backgrounds and countries and we are from different generations.

“But it reaffirms what we all know –which is that friendship can transcend all of that.

“It’s more about having shared values.

“Oti and I are both very driven and very ambitious and get the most out of life.”

Oti has a string of high profile projects coming up next year.

The pro dancer is replacing John Barrowman on the panel for ITV’s hit show Dancing on Ice.

And she has signed up to host a new podcast for the BBC about her heroes.
