AGC Television, the TV production division of Stuart Ford’s AGC Studios, has hired Brad Austin as Vice President, Unscripted Television. Austin will work closely with AGC Television President Lourdes Diaz on a slate of original formats and character-based-docuseries, and will also work with AGC’s London office on projects.
Austin most recently served stints at Discovery Studios and Sirens Media / ITV America where he helped build unscripted development slates of original formats and docuseries. Previously, as Vice President of Development at Renegade 83 Prods (Naked & Afraid) he set up series such as Sugar at YouTube, Many Sides of Jane at A&E, and Aaron Hernandez: Uncovered at Oxygen.
Prior to Renegade 83, he oversaw development at 10×10 Entertainment (America’s Next Top Model), worked at Country Music Television in development and programming on franchise series such as Gone Country and Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders: Making the Team, and he also held positions in publicity at Lifetime Television, PAX TV and PBS.

Added Diaz, “I’m very excited for Brad to join our team, where his extensive knowledge of the unscripted television landscape will help us create compelling domestic and international content ”.
AGC has a deal with former NBC Universal Television Entertainment Chairman Jeff Gaspin of Gaspin Media which entailed Gaspin joining the AGC board in a non-exclusive capacity. The company has tens of features in development and more than 15 scripted TV projects in its pipeline.
