THE Chase viewers were left baffled as they failed to recognise any of the contestants on the ITV celebrity special.
Viewers were left scratching their heads as four famous faces joined host Bradley Walsh, 61, in a bid to win money for their chosen charities.
The episode featured stars such as sports broadcaster Mark Chapman, Sky News reporter Gillian Joseph, cricketer Ryan Sidebottom and comedian Fred MacAulay.
However, fans nearly mistook the episode for a non-celeb instalment as they struggled to pinpoint the celebrities on the panel.
One wrote: "I don't know a single person on the 'celebrity' chase today. #TheChase"
Another posted: "Isn't this meant to be a special celebrity edition? #thechase"
A third added: "#TheChase I didn't even realise this episode was a celebrity version, never seen either one of those people. I just thought the crowd were really lively for general public!"
Another joked: "#thechase Celebrity Special. Not heard of one of them ~ and I watch trash tv!"
