TOM Parker's wife Kelsey opened up about the "traumatic" moment The Wanted star had a violent seizure in front of their daughter.
The singer, 32, is battling a terminal brain tumour after being diagnosed with stage 4 glioblastoma.
Kelsey appeared on Loose Women to talk about how she is staying positive in the face of the news – and recount the moment he had a seizure in front of their daughter.
"So we believe Tom had a seizure in July. But I wasn't actually around, so Tom rang me like, 'I don't really feel well Kels. Something's happened'. I said, 'What do you think Tom?' He said, 'I don't know.'
"So for six weeks we didn't know he had a seizure. Then we went on holiday with the family.
"Me and Aurelia went upstairs to Tom in bed. We were talking, just having a normal conversation, and he said, 'Kels, I feel really hot, my hands are sweating and I'm like, 'Okay.' Next minute, massive seizure.
"Thankfully, I was with my family so my stepdad came running in with my auntie and they dealt with the situation. I took Aurelia out of the room. Obviously it was just absolutely overwhelmingly traumatic for everyone."
Tom thought he had "man flu" before being delivered the devastating news about his inoperable brain tumour.
He has already undergone his six weeks of chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatment – with Kelsey saying she is getting him fit through physiotherapy and "very strict" diet.
Asked how she stays positive in this situation, she replied: "For my kids, for Tom, for my family. I think in this situation, it’s a really bad horrendous situation.
"But I think staying positive is the only way to get through this."
The couple recently welcomed newborn son Bodhi after describing him as the "light at the end of our tunnel".
The pop star posted the cute photos of his newborn baby peacefully sleeping wearing a pale pink woollen hat.
In a second snap, Bodhi is pictured clutching a small heart-shaped toy close to his cheek.
