Harriet Finch (Katherine Dow Blyton) made an exit in Emmerdale on Tuesday (September 29) and it appears as if we might have seen the last of her for a while.
She needed to take some time for herself after Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley) murdered love interest DI Malone (Mark Womack) after he threatened the life of her son, Lucas Taylor (Dexter Ansell).
Many eagle-eyed viewers recognised actress Katherine Dow Blyton from another favourite soap.

Katherine, 55, has played the part of Harriet sine 2013.
Katherine previously appeared in Emmerdale as an unnamed doctor, who treated Roy Glover (Nicky Evans) after he severed his fingers in 1996.
Was Katherine Dow Blyton in Hollyoaks?
Katherine Dow Blyton played Sally Hunter on Hollyoaks between 2001 and 2005.
Sally was the mother of Ellie Hunter (Sarah Baxendale), Dan Hunter (Andrew McNair), Lee Hunter (Alex Carter) and Lisa Hunter (Gemma Atkinson) as well as the wife of Les Hunter (John Graham Davies).
Some of Sally’s storylines include tracking down her eldest child Ellie who went missing in Ibiza in 1999, temporarily splitting from hubby Les after his alcoholism turned violent, and trying to defend her son Dan after he was accused of the murder of Toby Mills (Henry Luxemburg) in 2003.
After Dan died in in a rally race in 2005, Sally and Les decided to leave Hollyoaks to start a new life in Cyprus.
Katherine has also had minor roles in Coronation Street, This Is England ’86, The Royal and Where The Heart Is.
