Missy Booth is one of the main characters in the Channel 4 school drama Ackley Bridge.

Her and Nasreen Paracha (Amy-Leigh Hickman) have built a strong friendship throughout the series, but they are set to face a new challenge in the latest episode.

Who plays Missy Booth in Ackley Bridge?

Missy Booth is played by British actress Poppy Lee Friar, and she has been a regular on Ackley Bridge since the series started in 2017.

The 24-year-old has appeared in various British TV shows during her acting career, including small parts in Helen West in 2002 and Casualty in 2006.

Between 2005 and 2009 she voiced June in the UK version of the animated series Little Einsteins.

She then went on to have small parts in The Bill, A Touch of Frost and Doctors, before securing a recurring role as Rosalie Selfridge in the ITV drama Mr Selfridge in 2013.

Poppy also starred as the title character for the CBBC sci-fi series EVE, which ran for three series and saw her receive a nomination for best Children’s Performer at the 2015 British Academy Children’s Awards.

More recently she appeared as Jayne Torvill in the Torvill & Dean biopic on ITV.
