ZARA McDermott has defiantly posted "love always wins" just hours after her showdown with ex Sam Thompson aired on Made In Chelsea.
The 23-year-old star broke 28-year-old Sam's heart as she admitted to cheating on him while she competed on Celebrity X Factor last year.
The entire fallout was documented on the E4 reality show, with last night's episode showing Zara break down in tears as she admitted to her infidelity.
Sam was left furious and immediately dumped her after 16 months together, with the brunette beauty making repeated efforts to win him back ever since.
Earlier this month, Zara shared a video tribute to her former flame on Instagram as she begged for him to take her back.
And last night she remained hopeful as she posted a quote that read "love wins, love always wins" to her Instagram Story.
So far, Zara's efforts have been fruitless and Sam has publicly ignored her attempts to win him back, but the former Love Island star appears reluctant to stop trying.
Yesterday, shocked fans saw Zara tell Sam's pal Jamie Laing: "I did something really bad around a year ago. I slept with someone."
She then broke down as she spoke to Sam about it, with the reality star lashing out at her "seedy and consistent s****ing" with another man.
He also revealed that she was still liking the other man's Instagram posts while she and Sam were on a romantic holiday in August of this year.
Earlier this month, Zara begged for her ex's forgiveness in an open letter as she confessed to bedding music boss Brahim Fouradi.
She wrote on Instagram: "Hey everyone, I just wanted to address the recent speculation in the media.
"A huge mistake I made a year ago has recently come to light and I want to face this head on.
"I don't condone being unfaithful and I made a huge mistake at a time in my life where I was hugely selfish and immature.
"I believe I have learnt so much from my mistake. I want to apologise to my Sam for everything I have put him through, for the pain, the embarrassment, the anger and the hurt.
"All I want to do is make this right and I think the least he deserves is me being honest with myself and all of you. I love you Sam. Forever."
Heartbroken Sam took time away from the spotlight by heading straight to film Channel 4's celebrity version of The Circle with best pal Pete Wicks after the bombshell news broke.
The week away filming the programme, which will air in the New Year, gave him no access to the outside world and time to "clear his head".
