Archie Lyndhurst's girlfriend Nethra Tilakumara posts emotional tribute marking what would have been his 20th birthday

THE girlfriend of CBBC star Archie Lyndhurst has posted a beautiful tribute to her late boyfriend marking what would have been his 20th birthday.

Actress Nethra Tilakumara posted a snap of the pair to her Instagram page, captioned: “20 incredible years, Happy Birthday to you x."

The body of CBBC actor Archie, son of Only Fools and Horses' Nicholas Lyndhurst, was discovered at his family home in Fulham, West London, last week.

Officials said he was found in non-suspicious circumstances.

Police and ambulance were called “to a report of a concern for welfare” and he was declared dead at the scene.

The 19-year-old’s death is being treated as “unexplained but not suspicious.”

Police are no longer actively investigating and have passed a file to the West London coroner.

Nethra’s touching words came today, marking what would have been the So Awkward star's 20th birthday.

She added: "I was so excited for you to turn 20, because I think that’s when we all start to become the people we’re going to be.But you were already there.

"I just wanted you to experience the magic of it. You are the magic. ‘Happy 20th Birthday.

"I know you will have a Porn Star Martini and Bellini in each hand… and so will we X."

It follows a tear-jerking Instagram tribute from Nethra two days ago, where she spoke about how Charlie made her feel like the "luckiest girl in the world".

She wrote: "There was once a boy named Archie Lyndhurst and he made me the happiest girl in the whole wide world," adding: "Boyfriend doesn’t do it justice. Archie you were my Person and Best friend all in one."

The heartbreaking tribute concluded: "You have my heart forever. Thank you for loving me. Thank you for making me the luckiest girl in the world.

“Every day with you was the best day ever, because I finally met my match.”

Archie’s mum Lucy Smith also paid tribute, writing: "We shall love him forever and a day and are the luckiest parents to have had the most wonderful unique son who has bought us nothing but joy in our lives."

An inquest into Archie's death is due to be opened next week.
