A MAN today appeared in court for murder after a young mum was found fatally injured at a house on Friday night.
Amy-Leanne Stringfellow, 26, died shortly after emergency services arrived at the scene in Doncaster.
Terence Papworth, 45, has been arrested by South Yorkshire Police officers and charged with Amy's murder.
He appeared at Doncaster Magistrates' Court today.
Dressed in a blue hoodie, he spoke only to confirm his name, address and date of birth.
He was remanded in custody to appear again at Doncaster Crown Court on Wednesday.
It comes after emergency services had rushed to a home on Dryden Road at 11.35pm on Friday to reports of a woman with serious injuries.
Upon arrival, personal trainer Amy was found to be critically injured and was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.
Her heartbroken family today paid tribute to the mum-of-one, describing her as "beautiful and kind".
They said: "Our hearts are broken and will never truly be repaired.
"You were beautiful and kind and inspired so many others.
"We know you will live on in your little girl.
"We love you all the pennies in the world."
