Bodies of man and woman found at Kirk Ella home as cops probe 'unexplained' deaths | The Sun

THE bodies of a man and a woman have been discovered at a property in Kirk Ella.

Police went to the house on May 1 at 11.26am following reports of a concern for safety.

When the cops arrived both people were found dead.

Humberside Police have said their deaths are currently being treated as unexplained.

Humberside Fire and Rescue Service said they were called to assist the police and used a lock breaker to gain access to the home.

Fire service crews used breathing apparatus and hazmat suits to see if any hazardous materials were present.

Gas detection checks were also carried out, which were negative and there was natural ventilation in the property.

Humberside Police said in a statement: "We were called to reports of a concern for safety at a property on Mill Lane in Kirk Ella at around 11.26am on Monday 1 May.

"Upon arrival, a man and a woman were found to have died. The circumstances of their death are yet to be established and are currently being treated as unexplained.”

Kirk Ella is a village on the outskirts of Kingston upon Hull, East Yorkshire, around five miles west from the city centre.
