SOBBING children ran screaming "I saw it, I saw it" moments after a 14-year-old boy lay on tracks in front of them and was hit by a train.
The Year 9 pupil, who was named locally as Sam and was reportedly being bullied, was struck at 4pm on Monday and pronounced dead at the scene at Chertsey station.
More than 50 children and adults from his Roman Catholic school, Salesian in Chertsey, were understood to have been standing on the platform at the time.
Cops were called to usher them away from the horrific scene so specialist body recovery experts could remove the child's remains from the tracks.
